CAAK, short for the Civil Aviation Authority of the Republic of Kosovo, is the National Aviation Authority Of Kosovo. It was established under Law No. 03/L-051 on Civil Aviation. The civil aviation authority of Kosovo is an independent regulatory agency. It oversees the safety and security of air navigation services. CAAK is responsible for the economic development of air facilities in the Republic of Kosovo. It follows all aviation laws laid down by the Agreement on the Establishment of a European Common Aviation Area and the Convention on International Civil Aviation of 7 December 1944.
